DCM's Custom Publications Help CVBs Deliver Marketing Messages To Customers

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. Dialog Custom Media (DCM), a South Florida-based custom publishing house, announces that it has expanded its business strategy to serve Florida's Convention and Visitors' Bureaus (CVB). DCM's value-added programs can help Florida's CVBs strengthen their membership loyalty programs and targeted marketing through unique custom publishing opportunities.

CVBs are constantly looking for effective opportunities to communicate with vacationers. Through marketing vehicles like special interest programs and services, timely promotions and informative trend articles, vacationers rely on CVBs to learn about the latest and greatest within a particular destination region. Additionally, CVBs are also looking to communicate with regional businesses to increase corporate memberships. However, CVBs are finding it increasingly difficult to reach vacationers and businesses with traditional forms of marketing, such as advertising and direct mail.

According to a recent survey conducted by Milward Brown for the Custom Publishing Council (CPC), a remarkable number of consumers (91 percent) and business professionals (94 percent) believe custom publishing vehicles are a reliable source of information, indicating a shrinking gap between custom and consumer titles. Additionally, 78 percent of consumers think custom publications are a more effective way for companies to tell them about their products or services compared to other forms of advertising, while 74 percent of business professionals agree.

"Our custom publishing services can add a tremendous amount of value when supplemented with the current mix of marketing vehicles being used by the various CVBs here in Florida," said Carol Brenner, associate publisher for Dialog Custom Media. "Today's consumers are constantly deluged with an abundance of marketing messages from companies and organizations all trying to capture attention. Because of this, custom publishing represents an efficient way for CVBs to enhance their members' loyalty since marketing messages are tailored to their specific interests."
